NOA 4th Group Kayeta Puja (Bratabandha) Ceremony
Dear NOA friends and community members, Jwojalapa! We are pleased to announce that the Newah Organization of America (NOA) is planning a Group Kayeta Puja (Bratabandha) Ceremony for the Fourth time in Washington, DC metropolitan area on Saturday, July 13, 2013
There will be a traditional ceremony with program support from Newah priest and scholar Mr. Basav Rajopadhyay. Following the ceremony, a simple vegetarian lunch will be served at the temple at a cost of $10 per person.

Join NOA for a Sri Swasthani Brata Ritual Performance
Dear NOA friends, families, and community members: The Newah Organization of America (NOA) cordially invites you to a unique cultural and religious event, the Sri Swasthani Brata Samapan (Closing Ceremony) in the greater Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area. This exciting puja is being performed by Newah Priest Mr. Basav Rajopadhyay for the second time in the United States, in the traditional way like in Salinadi of Sankhu.
Please join us to make this a great community gathering!
Time: 12:00– 4:00PM The cost to sit in the puja is $30.00 per person or $50:00 per couple, which covers your prasad as well as the venue and priest fees. The puja starts promptly at noon and will last for about 3 hours so please be sure to arrive 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time. This is one of our most special rituals—come to be rewarded by Goddess Sri Swasthani for your dedication and worship! Any generous individual who would like to make a financial contribution to the puja should contact NOA Treasurer Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha at 240-581-0078.

Dear Community Members: Jwojalapa! Hello! NOA is pleased to organize 2nd Annual Yenya Punhi (Indra Jatra) Samay Bajee Gathering on Sunday, September 30, 2012 near Gaithersburg, MD. The Newah people are so rich in culture and heritage, and we’re excited to celebrate one great piece of it—let’s get together to be festive and remember our traditions.
We cordially invite you, your family , friends, and neighbors to join this special outdoor gathering at the beautiful Black Hill Regional Park . Please come enjoy good company and good food. We’ll have a Newah samay bajee, drinks, traditional Pulu Kishi (Elephant) dance, and even some sizzling barbecue if the weather permits.
