Article 1.1

 Tenure and Limit of the office of Executive Committee

1.1.1    The term of office of the Executive Committee (EC) shall be of two (2) years duration.

1.1.2    The office of the President shall be up to two (2) terms.

1.1.3    After serving the President for full two (2) years, he/she is entitled to hold the position of Adviser.

Article 2.1

Patron Membership

2.1.1 Any individual wishing to become Patron Member of Organization shall submit membership form and shall agree to abide by the Constitution of the Organization. Such Individual shall make a one-time contribution, the amount of which is determined by the Executive Committee. Upon approval by the Executive Committee, the applicant shall be officially recognized as a Patron Member of the Organization. No one shall be discriminated on basis of race, religion, nationality, color, caste and creed or sexual orientation of the individual.

2.1.2 A Patron Member is recognized as a General Member of Organization and entitled to all associated Voting Rights.

2.1.3 Each Patron Member shall be entitled to special recognition and privileges, as determined and conferred by the Executive Committee.

2.1.4 The Executive Committee shall have the exclusive authority to establish and modify categories and criteria for the elevation or modification of Patron Membership, as it deems appropriate.

2.1.5 “Patron” membership is non-transferable under any circumstances.

Article 3.1

Vacancies and Resignation

3.1.1 In the event of vacancy of the President position, the Executive Committee (“EC”) shall convene the Emergency EC Meeting within a period of twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours.

3.1.2 In the event that the President tenders a formal letter of resignation, the EC shall convene an Emergency EC Meeting within a period of twenty-four (24) to forty- eight (48) hours from the time of receipt of said resignation. The resigning President shall not participate in said meeting. The Emergency EC Meeting shall formally accept the resignation, and the First Vice President shall immediately assume the office of President during interim period.

3.1.3 If the First Vice President is not in a position to take responsibility of the President, he/she shall provide a formal consent to decline the role and the Second Vice President shall ascend to the President for the interim period as decided by the same Emergency EC meeting as referred to Section 3.1.1 (Third Amendment).

3.1.4 If the Second Vice President is not in a position to take responsibility of the President, he/she shall provide a formal consent to decline the role, and the General Secretary shall ascend to the President for the interim period as decided be the same Emergency EC meeting as referred to Section 3.1.1 (Third Amendment).

3.1.5 If the General Secretary is not in a position to take responsibility of the President, the same Emergency EC meeting as referred to Section 3.1.1 (Third Amendment) shall form an Election Committee and appoint the General Secretary as a care-taking President to complete the By-election process.

3.1.6 A By-election shall be conducted for the vacant position of President as referred to Section 4.1.2 (Third Amendment) within forty-five (45) days.

3.1.7 In case of resignation of the entire Committee En-masse a Caretaker committee of three (3) members shall be appointed in the Special Meeting consisting of the founding members, NOA advisors and the past EC members.

3.1.8 The Three-member Caretaker committee shall form the By-election committee to conduct election of the EC.

Article 4.1

Election Process

4.1.1 An Election shall be conducted every second year to form a new Executive Committee.

4.1.2 Election process shall be followed as referred to Article 9, Section 9.1.1 through  9.1.4 of the original Constitution of NOA
